Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over now but that doesn’t mean you still can’t save BIG! I am so glad that most stores are EXTENDING their sales just for you in case you weren’t able to shop Black Friday/ Cyber Monday! I love Christmas time and it is truly the most wonderful time of year!
What We Value
I didn’t realize until I got older how much I appreciate this time of year spending time with loved ones and listening to Christmas music, seeing “Santa” and sharing gifts , food and laughter , lights, ice skating and trips out of town! I grew up going to church on Christmas Day or the day before and really thought the holidays were wrapped in joy, peace , love and Jesus!
This year has been hard for everyone and I want to take a moment to just tell you that you’re doing your best if you aren’t able to buy all the latest gifts for loved ones or your children and that’s ok. I remember a time I couldn’t buy my son a gift and how hard I was on myself. I wasn’t born “rich” and my family had to buy for multiple kids.
I try to teach Eli each year a new level of gratitude and to be thankful for the things he has. We cut back BIG TIME years ago and put more emphasis on quality time / memories spent together that’s why we do so many trips and less gifts.
