March 7-12th,2022.
Eli and I just got back from Spring Break at Walt Disney World . I wanted to share with you a “First Timers Guide” to a smooth trip to Disney! If you’ve never gotten the chance to visit Disney then you are truly in for the most magical treat of your life!
The real MAGIC for me is to see Eli light up riding rides and meeting characters ! If you have followed my instagram stories through this trip you will see I didn’t leave anything out ! We truly have the most amazing time every single time we go! [It never gets old].
Staying on disney property
This year we used a travel agent Teacup Travel Co {Kacie Matte} she did an awesome job at planning this wonderful vacation for us! I typically don’t use a travel agent but I really loved the whole experience of staying on Disney property. There were so many perks to staying on property which include onsite dining, gift shops, Skyliner to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and the bus to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We stayed at their value resort Disney’s Pop Century Resort! We absolutely loved everything about it!
There are 4 main parks and 2 water parks at Disney. My advice is to allow some down days ex:[pool & Disney Springs or trying new foods at different resorts!

Dining at Disney
Disney can be really expensive so definitely make sure to save and plan ahead if you plan on dining at the parks! Be sure to buy tickets and make a reservation each day to enter each park. I like to plan reservations for dining as soon as I purchase tickets to the parks! This year we got super fortunate to eat at Cinderellas Royal Table. It was a last minute dining plan thanks to Mousedining. Finding reservations for the restraunts you want may not always be available. Im so thankful we had mousedining. It simply emails you to book if the reservation time slot/day become available.
Cinderellas Royal Table typically needs to be booked 90 days in advance according to the hosts there. It is super hard to get into last minute unless someone cancels . With this reservation you do have to pay in advance for your meal! Be sure to check the Walt Disney World app to see the menu! It’s a 3 course meal and is super delicious ! My favorite is their steak! It’s the best I’ve ever had!
Fly delta
We chose to fly this trip! I know this is not ideal for each household but it saved us a lot of time and super easy to travel . I personally fly Delta and LOVE the airline. Flights are NOT cheap however our checked bags are $30/each up to 50lbs… anything over that is $100 per bag unless you shift to another suitcase. You are also allowed a carry on. I typically don’t like carry ons they are a hassle on/off the plane however they are great for items that need to be reached once your flight takes off.
How much does disney cost?
I have been asked several times in DMs from Instagram to Facebook about pricing for Disney and honestly Disney is NOT cheap but it is worth every penny imo [in my opinion]. It cost me $4,000 for 2 people. $2k was resort and tickets alone. It really just depends on what you are wanting to spend your money on. If it’s a must have item I will purchase! Definitely a SPLURGE trip for sure!
We ubered to our resort and back to the airport it cost me $200 total.Transportation at the resort is included to ALL Disney Parks.
Planning our park days
How I plan our park day is based on dining reservations. We did get the park hopper pass for the whole week [waste of money for us] we enjoy 1 park per day. We also got genie plus daily to help with the long lines! MUST have if you do not want to wait long in lines $15 extra/day
1/2 day Epcot our first day – DO NOT recommend if you’re tired trying to squeeze that in
Allow yourself to REST!
